LGS Marine's LED Deck Lamps are designed for harsh environments in both wet or dry locations. They are built with die cast aluminum, and available in Wall Mount and/or Ceiling Mount, with your choice of frost, tea, or blue lenses. Additionally, there is a retrofit kit to convert existing Jellyjar fixtures. They are IP66 rated with a built-in junction box that has four knockouts. The diameter of the knockouts is 22mm (including threads), and they are sealed using M20 blind heads. There is no glass lens, or globe protector to vibrate loose, or break. The 10W LED fixture projects a 90-degree beam in a warm, 3000K light emitting up to 1000 lumens. The light output is comparable to a 130-watt incandescent bulb. Operates on 100-277 VAC. Typical applications include gangway lighting for work-boats, tankers and cargo ships, offshore and inshore oil rigs, warehouses, food processing plants, commercial laundromats, coolers/freezers, tunnels, and more.
The retro-fit kit will mount easily to many existing “Jellyjar” fixtures that have Glass Globes and Protection Cages. Simply remove the Cage, Globe and Bulb. Then unscrew the portion of the fixture that the A-19 receptor is mounted to and disconnect the wiring. Place the new gasket between the old fixture and the new LGS Luminary, connect the wiring, and screw in the new LGS Luminary to the existing fixture. It’s that simple!
