The T8-G13 Non-Shunted Lamp Holder is used to retrofit fixtures from flourescent T8 lamps, to LED T8 Lamps. Simply follow the instructions below.
 
Turn off the power to the fixture.
Carefully remove the lens from the fixture.
Remove fluorescent lamps from the fixture and discard appropriately.
Remove ballast cover from the fixture.
Disconnect the power to and from ballast. Remove ballast from the fixture.
Remove existing T8-G13 Non-Shunted Lamp Holder from one end of the fixture.
Put wire-nuts on the wire coming from the remaining lamp holder.
Replace the removed Lamp Holder with LGS’s (FL205 Lamp Holder) T8-G13 Non-Shunted Lamp Holder-Wire w/18'' B&W leads. This is now the “POWER” end of the fixture. Ensure you indicate with some kind of marking on the fixture that this is the “POWER” end of the fixture. The other end is now used only to hold the non-power end of the lamp in the fixture.
Reconnect live and neutral power to the new 18'' B&W leads.
Replace the ballast cover.
Install the new T8 lamps ensuring the endcap noted “POWER” is installed on the power end of the fixture. NOTE: If you install the lamp backwards it will fry the lamp.
Replace the lens and turn on the fixture!
